Who is L'Egantz?                                                                                             L'Egantz (pronounced "elegance") is a home decor and gift shop located in the heart of the historic downtown business district in Rockwall, Texas.  The shop specializes in hand picked decorative home accents, wine accessories and unique distinctive gifts.  The pineapple logo that is prominently displayed represents "welcome and hospitality" which is an attitude that permeates the business from the moment a customer enters the door and filters through to the online store.

The goal at L'Egantz is to make customers feel at home as they browse through the various areas of the physical shop or in its online store.  A friendly staff is available in person, by phone or via email to assist, when required.  Customers are the most important aspect of the business and all feedback is appreciated as well as special requests.  If a customer cannot find an item in stock, the staff at L'Egantz will make an effort to locate and obtain it elsewhere.

The online store has been designed with "themed" categories, including one dedicated just to men, that mirror the shop's themed rooms to make a customer's shopping experience easy, interesting and exciting.  In addition to the focus on home decor and wine accessories, a wide array of gift merchandise is available providing something for everyone.  From the most fragrant candles to high-tech electronics (available only online), L'Egantz offers unique quality gifts at affordable prices.  Free gift wrap is always available and if unsure, gift certificates are available for even the most eccentric person on any gift list.

Merchandise Orders - Online or Phone                                                           Shopping and ordering items online may be done 24 hours a day.  Simply navigate through the various pages online and add items to the shopping basket.  You may edit, add or delete items in the shopping basket during the shopping experience then press the "Continue" button to proceed to checkout.  Phone orders can be placed by calling 972-771-3600 during customary business hours (Tuesday through Thursday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; Friday and Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm--Central Standard/Daylight Savings time).  Pricing and description errors are subject to correction at any time.

Payment Methods                                                                                              Online orders are processed by credit card payment only.  Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are all accepted.  Phone orders may be processed by submitting payment using one of the major credit cards listed or a check (cashier's check preferred) or money order may be mailed to:  L'Egantz, 206 E. Rusk Street, Rockwall, Texas  75087.  If payment is received via a personal check, the order will be held for 10 (ten) business days to ensure that payment clears the respective bank.  Returned checks are subject to a $30 returned check fee.

Sales Tax (Texas Residents)                                                                             Any order being placed from or shipped to an address within the State of Texas will include sales tax of 8.25%.  This charge is automatically added on to the total cost of merchandise included in the order.

Customer Care                                                                                                   You, the customer, are the most important aspect of this business.  The aim is to offer the best customer centric focus beginning by selecting quality merchandise and offering it at affordable prices.  Shipments are expeditiously and diligently packaged to prevent damage and allow merchandise to arrive at its destination intact as if it were carried from the shop.  Comments, questions, suggestions or special requests are always welcomed from customers that hopefully become friends.  Friends can assist with word of mouth referrals that help to grow expanded offerings which will make the shopping experience more enjoyable and effortless for everyone. 

Shipping Policy                                                                                                  Online orders are fulfilled within a two day business cycle from in-stock items and usually arrive between seven to ten business days from the time an order is placed.  Any item may be subject to back order if merchandise is unavailable when the order is placed.  A customer will be notified via email if an order is to be placed on back order status.  Shipping and handling charges are determined by the merchandise dollar amount of the order before taxes.

All merchandise orders totaling over $100.00 receive FREE Ground Shipping with the exception of items contained in the Electronics/ Specialty Items category.  All electronics/specialty items are shipped direct from our vendor and arrive via UPS.  All shipments include prepaid insurance for damages.  Shipments are only processed for the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii.  International shipping is not offered.  Expedited shipping is available for:  2nd Business Day delivery at an additional cost of $12.95 to standard rates; Overnight delivery at an additional cost of $15.95 to standard rates; and Saturday delivery at an additional cost of $21.95 to standard rates.  Expedited shipping requests are not included in the FREE Ground Shipping offer.

Return Policy                                                                                                    Customers are very typically satisfied with the product selections received but sometimes items just don't fulfill a need.  Merchandise may be returned at the customer's expense for shipping and handling within 15 days of receipt (posted delivery date per the courier) for a refund on the merchandise total only less a 20% restocking fee.  All original packaging, instructions, packing list, etc. must be included in the return.  Returns may be made utilizing any public service carrier or in person at the Rockwall shop.  It is recommended that returns be insured to avoid any damage charges.  Return damages are the responsibility of the customer.  C.O.D. returns will not be accepted.  Exchanges and/or merchandise credits will gladly be made in lieu of refunds.  If original items arrive to the customer damaged, damage must be reported within 5 days or claims will not be honored.  Claims must be reported by calling 972-771-3600 for claim instructions.

Privacy Policy                                                                                                    The privacy and protection of customers is of utmost importance.  Information collected such as name, address, telephone, email, credit card, etc. is not sold, distributed, rented or otherwise made available to anyone outside this operation.  Customers are only contacted by a staff person via phone or email in the event of questions concerning a transaction placed through the online order process.  Additional email, however, may be sent periodically to alert customers of special offers or items that may be of special interest.  Customers may opt out of this distribution at any time by submitting an email requesting to be removed from the distribution list or phoning in such a request.

Site Security                                                                                                      Transactional security allows customers to shop in an environment that is friendly and safe.  This site is secure and may be validated by observing the alteration that takes place in the URL address upon entering the checkout process.  The beginning of the URL address will change to "https://" from the normal "http://".  The additional "s" stands for "secure".  A solid key icon or padlock icon will also be displayed at the bottom of the browser window in the status bar to indicate security as well.  A security certificate can be viewed by double clicking on the key or padlock icon for reassurance.
